U. Ingrid Schirrholz received her Diploma in Psychology from the University of Hamburg/Germany. She came to the U.S. to study Expressive Therapies at Lesley College earning her MA in 1984. She continued her training in Psychodrama with Robert and Jacqueline Siroka in New York City.

Under the direction of Jacqueline Siroka she embarked together with Miri Schoenfeld from Israel on a joint exploration of the legacy of the Holocaust, using psychodrama to work through the inter-generational trauma of victims and perpetrators. Out of this work she developed a workshop about The Drama of the Victim, the Perpetrator, the Bystander and the Rescuer which she presented at one of the ASGPP conferences in the 1990s.

For the last twenty years Ingrid has found her spiritual home in the PATHWORK, a program for psychological and spiritual transformation where she has used psychodrama and expressive arts in the training of spiritual counselors.

Ingrid lives with her husband Mel in an old farm house near Woodstock, NY and has a private practice in New Jersey and in West Hurley.
