I view therapy as a spiritual and creative process, where desired changes are brought about through sharing your experiences, thoughts, and feelings in a safe, supportive environment. Entering therapy is a very courageous decision because rather than avoiding and hoping your problems will simply go away, you confront your unhappiness head on and seek solutions, Though trusting another may be difficult, and at times feel like an impossible challenge, if that risk is taken with the right therapist the unfoldment that occurs over time will show you the way forward.
I specialize in the treatment of children and adolescents, but also have extensive experience with treating adults in all facets of recovery. In addition to being a licensed clinical social worker I am a member of the American Board of Examiners in Psychodrama, Sociometry, and Group Psychotherapy, having studied and completed training at the Institute of Psychodrama and Sociometry, as well as at the Psychodrama and Creative Arts Therapy Institute. I incorporate my skills as a psychotherapist, certified psychodramatist, and as a practicing artist into the treatment process, helping to guide you towards creating the positive results you desire.
