I am thrilled to achieve psychodrama certification and use these skills for individual and collective healing. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Nationally Certified Counselor, Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist, and a Biologist and Naturalist.
Together we can liberate your creative life force, so you can heal trauma and express yourself authentically. Ill support you with safe space, acceptance and witnessing, skilled guidance, and tools to empower you to take effective action on your behalf, and for the good of the whole.
I work with individuals, groups, organizations, and schools. I use sociometry (identifying, working with, and expanding social networks) and sociodrama (therapeutic re-enactment of collective concerns) to create belonging, social inclusion, group cohesion, and community building. In particular, I teach anti-bullying methods to schools and groups, and co-lead body and size diversity groups.
No one should be forced to remain an outsider, or feel they cannot be successful. If you have been marginalized, you can flourish when given safety, and the right environment. Then, what you learned to hide under a mantle of shame can emerge and take center stage as authentic self-expression. You can now powerfully step into a greater life the life you were born to live, that bears witness to your dreams. The world needs you, as you.
My work extends to social and ecological systems, which inform each other. I teach ecopsychology, which is based on our interconnection with, and interdependence on, all life.
I have trained with: 1) John Mosher, LMHC, TEP, and use his Healing Circle model for treating developmental trauma, and for shamanic work; 2) Georgia Rigg, LICSW, TEP, and use her Psychomotor methods, as well as her blended model of Psychomotor and Psychodrama; 3) Jack Shupe, ND, LAc, FASGPP, TEP, and integrate the Chinese five element model, and 4) Kaya Kade, LPC, TEP, and benefited from her skills in building group cohesion. I honor them and am fortunate to have this solid basis for my work.
