Michele is a board certified practitioner of Psychodrama, Sociometry and Group Psychotherapy and holds a Masterâ€™s degree in Humanistic Psychology, with emphasis studies in Addiction and Cross-Cultural Shamanism. After years working traditionally in behavioral health, she is taking action methods to the broader community as director and founder of Cosmic Stage, Inc. a not for profit social learning forum. Cosmic Stage sociodramatic groups foster connection and insight by drawing upon our shared humanity to create safe and meaningful encounters among those of diverse and seemingly disparate roles, beliefs and cultural values.
Recently certified as a Science of Mind practitioner, Michele feels this philosophical teaching articulates her deeply held beliefs about humanity and the Universe. Through Cosmic Stage encounters participants can experience these liberating and life affirming metaphysical principles in the form of enhance awareness of their own potential and a greater sense of connectedness with others.
Michele enjoys facilitating spirituality workshops, especially for clients and staff in addictions treatment settings and plans to further expand her curriculum of â€˜Clinical Improvâ€™ trainings for behavioral health organizations.
As a seasoned quality improvement consultant and CARF surveyor, Michele naturally resonates with prevailing standards and best practices. She loves facilitating trainings because she finds the universe conspires best to anchor learning through spontaneous enactments.
As a songwriter, she connects with the essential and unique in each of us, the part of ourselves that struggles to find meaning in our human experiences. Michele has written and performed for New Thought churches, and published a CD â€˜Safe Passageâ€™ encouraged by the Psychodrama community. She regularly performs at the Suncoast Center for Spiritual Living where she is a member and practitioner.
Micheleâ€™s other professional interests include working with women in the federal prison system as an Alternatives to Violence Project (AVP) volunteer facilitator; and Living Mirror Playback Theater, where she is both an actor and musician with the troupe.
