Jean Campbell, LCSW, CET III, CIPP, TEP has utilized action methods in clinical and business settings since 1993. She is a certified as a Trainer, Educator and Practitioner by the American Board of Examiners in Psychodrama, Sociometry and Group Psychotherapy, is a Masters Level Certified Experiential Therapist, a Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner-in-Training (completed Beginning and Intermediate Levels), a TEDx Presenter, is Certified in Positive Psychology, a Certified Professional Coach in Training, and is the only Practitioner and Trainer of Psychodramatic Bodywork® in the United States certified to offer all 3 levels of training. Jean has worked in the behavioral health field for over 23 years, in a variety of clinical settings, including as Director of the Family Program at Inter-Care, Ltd. in New York City, and as Clinical Director of Clearview Treatment Programs in Los Angeles. Prior to her clinical experience, Jean worked in business for 11 years and was Director of Operations for a multi-million dollar advertising and marketing firm. She served 2 terms as Treasurer of the American Society of Group Psychotherapy and Psychodrama (ASGPP), is a Fellow of the ASGPP and is the President Emeritus of the Women's Association for Addiction Treatment (WAAT). Jean has worked in business, medical and educational settings, and has trained clinicians on a national and international level. In addition, along with her colleagues Jim Tracy, DDS, LMFT, BRI, CP, PAT and Bill Maher, CIP, she has co-created the Action Intervention Training model, which combines Systemic, Invitational Intervention with Sociometry and Psychodrama to warm up the family to change and create a treatment plan for the entire family system to recover, not just the addict/alcoholic. This model was awarded the Innovator's Award by the ASGPP in 2016. As Director of the Action Institute of California, Jean offers Leadership Workshops for Professionals, Ongoing Psychodrama training in Orange County and San Diego counties, teaches and utilizes action methods in a variety of settings, including treatment centers, businesses, agencies, clinics, schools and hospitals to facilitate staff trainings, team building, strategic planning and crisis management. In addition, she offers workshops all over the United States, including Sociometry Weekend Trainings, Directors Weekend Trainings, Psychodramatic Bodywork Weekend Trainings, Individual and Group Supervision, and monthly CP and TEP Exam Preparation Classes.
