Karen Carnabucci, MSS, LCSW, TEP, is a psychotherapist, coach and trainer who employs traditional and contemporary models and the expressive arts to work with people to solve problems, make decisions and expand creativity.
She is the author of "Show and Tell Psychodrama: Skills for Therapists, Coaches, Teachers and Leaders," which has been praised by more than 25 leading psychodrama trainers throughout the United States and is used in several psychodrama training programs.
In addition, she is the co-author of "Psychodrama & Systemic Constellation Work: New Directions For Action Methods, Mind-Body Therapies And Energy Healing," with the late Ronald Anderson and the author of "Healing Eating Disorders with Psychodrama and Other Action Methods: Beyond the Silence and the Fury" with Linda Ciotola, M.Ed., TEP.
She offers supervision and consultation in psychodrama and mind-body therapies and action methods by personal appointment, telephone, e-mail and online. Her trainings offer CE credits for social workers, marriage and family therapists and licensed professional counselors, plus psychodrama credits accepted for certification with the American Board of Examiners in Psychodrama, Sociometry and Group Psychotherapy and the International Society for Experiential Professionals.
Trainings are available in south central Pennsylvania and surrounding areas and by invitation elsewhere.

A licensed clinical social worker, she has studied psychodrama with Zerka Moreno, Gerald Tremblay, Donell Miller, Kate Hudgins and Marcia Karp. She has trained helping professionals in action methods locally, regionally and nationally since 1990 in a variety of settings. She has been honored with "Fellow" status by the American Society of Group Psychotherapy and Psychodrama and received the organization's Hannah Weiner Award in 2006 and the David Kipper Scholar's Award in 2012.
She is also certified as a facilitator of Family and Systemic Constellations with Heinz Stark of the Stark Instiut in Germany and holds certificates in addiction studies, Reiki and, qigong.
Her private practice is located in Lancaster, Pa., where she uses and teaches a broad range of holistic and experiential modalities, including psychodrama, family sculpture, guided imagery, sand tray, mindfulness and Family and Systemic Constellations.
