Creative Arts Therapists

Amy is a board certified music therapist and certified practitioner of psychodrama, sociometry and group psychotherapy. She provides music therapy and psychodrama services for children and mothers who have been affected by domestic violence through the PALS (Peace: A Learned Solution) Program of SAFE in Hunterdon in New Jersey. She is a contributing author to Creative Arts Therapies and Domestic Violence, due to be published in 2008.

Amy also provides music therapy services for children on the autism spectrum at the Children?s Center of Montclair State University, an inclusive setting for preschoolers, toddlers and infants. Amy has been an adjunct faculty member at Montclair State since 1998, teaching courses and supervising students in the Music Therapy Department.

Amy leads experiences in Bibliodrama for groups of people in various communities of faith. She has participated with the Institute for Contemporary Midrash in conducting an introductory course in Bibliodrama for students at Wesley Theological Seminary.
